Yet, as the fissures in his psyche deepen, his true nature begins to emerge. In his quest for power, he ventures into the realm of forces deemed forbidden, blurring the lines between right and wrong. Unbeknownst to him, these very forces may hold the key to the answers sought by Oliver Holliday. Together, they shall discover that life is not merely black and white, but rather a tapestry woven in shades of gray.

"Rat's Nest" was not forged in a day; rather, its origins languished in obscurity for over a decade, beginning as a mere fan project. Jacques has since evolved into a fully realized character within his own original narrative. What began in 2010 as a Professor Layton fan character has undergone extensive refinement, culminating in a distinctive concept that truly took shape in 2019.
