Jacques Lebeau is an eccentric young man, self-made through the fantastic power of invention, his own ingenuity, and perhaps a lot of spite for those who wronged him. However his true nature is revealing itself as the cracks in his psyche grow wider, and he begins to attempt to use his abilities to harness forces deemed forbidden. However, these forbidden forces may be just the answer Oliver Holliday is seeking. Together they may just learn that life is not so black and white, and we all exist in shades of gray.

OUR BEGINNINGS WERE HUMBLE

Rat's Nest wasn't made in a day. In fact, the concept has always been in the gutter for over 10 years and began as a fan project. Jacques now has his own original story. What started as a Professor Layton fan character in 2010, is now revisited and made into a complete individual concept that began its refinement 2019.  


The book will not be for everyone, as there are no heroes in this story.
